New / Used 2,800 Gallon Fire Fighting Tanker With 1,500 Gpm Pump
This department purchased this Used 1998 Freightliner dump truck near there home area and brought it to us for a new NFPA "wetside" tanker body.
It got them a big Caterpillar
C 12 engine and was less of an investment than a new chassis would cost.
These savings along with a "like new" used Darley 1,500 gpm pump with Hale Foam Pro foam system we had in stock saved them even more!!
They were able to additional LED red warning lighting, two Zico Ziamatic pool lifts and Fire ResearchSpectra LED telescopic lights! Click on the picture for the video
A 
2,800 Gallon poly "wetside body" with two (2) 10" EJ Metals side dumps and a 12" EJ Metals on the rear, all controlled from the rear and cab.
Please notice the 4 led circle lights, there are on two sides of the pump panel and rear of truck for remote tank level lighting monitoring, on scene by command.
They chose to have the four suction hoses and pike poles in the rear cabinets sleeved in the APR fire tank.
For tank fill they selected a 4" Firemen's Friend direct tank fill with 5" storz fitting.
Safety on the scene is handled by Federal Traffic Arrow, Rear Vision Camera and additional red LED
in the tail light cluster.
Check out the 3m diamond grade reflective maltese cross "Traffik Lites" on the diamond plate in the chevron pattern. Although they do not meet the NFPA 1901 reflective standard as far as colors, they do create a dramatic effect on this apparatus while reflecting light night and day!
